The complainant made a request to Wolverhampton City Council (“the Council”) for information on property searches regarding a particular property. In response the Council informed the complainant that it was charging a fee for the information in accordance with regulation 8 of the EIR. The complainant has complained that the charge is unreasonable. The Commissioner has investigated the complaint and found that the charge is reasonable and he requires no steps to be taken.
