The Mountwood Surgery

The complainant has requested details of the sums paid to The Mountwood Surgery for hosting dermatology clinics at its site and the methodology used to select the Surgery as a host clinic. The Surgery stated the sums paid were exempt from disclosure on the basis of section 43(2) and it did not hold any information on the methodology. The Commissioner’s decision is that the section 43(2) exemption is not engaged but the Surgery did correctly state that it held no information on the methodology used. The Commissioner requires the public authority to now disclose the sums paid to host the clinics, the payment per clinic and the frequency of the clinics.
