The complainant has requested all emails sent and received by a specific email address followed by two refined versions of the request. The Ministry of Defence (‘MoD’) refused the requests citing section 14(1). The Commissioner’s decision is that the MoD has correctly relied on section 14(1) to refuse to comply with the requests. The Commissioner does not require the MoD to take any steps as a result of this notice. Information Tribunal appeal EA/2016/0004 allowed.
