The complainant has requested copies of the agendas and minutes of East Devon District Council, its Cabinet and its Committees for the past six years and copies of all background papers associated with these for the past four years. The complainant also seeks copies of all minutes relating to the Council’s Panels and Forums for the past four years. The Commissioner’s decision is that East Devon District Council has contravened section 10 of the FOIA by failing to provide the requested information to the complainant within the required twenty working day compliance period. Following the Commissioner’s intervention, the Council has made the requested information available for viewing and downloading on its website. In view of the actions taken by the Council and the terms of the complainant’s request, the Commissioner is satisfied that the Council has now complied with the request. The Commissioner requires the Council to take no further action in this matter.
