The complainant requested information about furniture and other equipment purchased for use by the Chief Executive. Powys County Council (‘the Council’) provided some information but withheld other information under section 40(2) of the FOIA. During the course of the Commissioner’s investigation, the Council disclosed some additional information relevant to the request. The Commissioner’s decision is that the remaining withheld information is exempt under section 40(2). He does not require any steps to be taken.
