The complainant has requested information about findings of the BBC Trust Editorial Standards Committee about a television programme: ‘Taking the Credit’.  The BBC says that it holds the information for journalistic purposes and, as such, it is not covered by the FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that the BBC holds the information for the purposes of journalism and it is therefore not caught by the FOIA.  The Commissioner does not require the BBC to take any steps.
