The complainant has requested information from Cumbria County Council in relation to a report it produced on behalf of Allerdale Borough Council regarding allegations of corruption. The Commissioner’s decision is that, on the balance of probabilities, Cumbria County Council does not hold the requested information. She has also decided that the exemption at section 40(2) of the FOIA was correctly applied. She does not require the public authority to take any steps to ensure compliance with the legislation.
