Wellingborough Borough Council

The complainant made four requests for information to the Borough Council of Wellingborough (the council) relating to Sywell Aerodrome Ltd (SAL). The council refused these requests under section 14(1) of the FOIA as it considered them to be vexatious. The Commissioner’s decision is that the council has correctly applied section 14(1) to the requests, and has therefore complied with the FOIA. She does not require the council to take any steps. Information Tribunal appeal EA/2017/0261 dismissed.
