Lincolnshire County Council provided partial postcode information, but withheld full postcodes on the basis of the exemption for third party personal data at section 40(2) of the FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that Lincolnshire County Council has correctly applied the exemption. The council is not required to take any steps to ensure compliance with the legislation.
