The complainant has requested information from the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead (“the Council”) relating to advice received from a barrister for the Council about the proposed Borough Local Plan. The Commissioner’s decision is that the Council has correctly withheld the information under section 42(1) of the FOIA – legal professional privilege.
