Sheffield City Council

The complainant has requested information relating to a contract between Sheffield City Council (“the Council”) and a contractor. The Council disclosed some information and said that the remainder was exempt from disclosure by virtue of the exemption at section 42 (legal professional privilege) of the FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that the Council was entitled to apply the exemption at section 42(1) FOIA to the withheld information.
