The complainant has requested information about a death in custody from the Metropolitan Police Service (the “MPS”). The MPS confirmed that it held some information but refused to disclose it, citing the exemptions at sections 30(1) (investigations and proceedings), 38(1) (health and safety) and 40(2) (personal information) of the FOIA.
