Taunton Deane Borough Council

The complainant has made a request for information relating to applicant households accommodated by Taunton Deane Borough Council (the Council) in bed and breakfast hotels, or other nightly paid, privately managed accommodation with shared facilities. The Commissioner’s decision is that the Council has failed to respond to the complainant’s request within 20 working days of receipt and has therefore breached section 10(1) of the FOIA. The Commissioner requires the Council to provide the complainant with a response to the request in accordance with its obligations under the FOIA.
