Department for Exiting the European Union

The complainant has requested information in relation to the European Union (withdrawal) Bill, the Explanatory Notes accompanying the Bill and the European Union Delegated Powers Memorandum accompanying the Bill. The Commissioner’s decision is that the Department for Exiting the European Union (‘DExEU’) is not obliged to comply with the request in reliance of section 12(1). No steps are required as a result of this decision.
