Sussex Learning Trust

The complainant has requested the trust to disclose the details of the bonus awarded to a member of staff in 2016/17. He asked to know who the bonus was awarded to, how much it was for and what it was for. The trust refused to disclose the information citing section 40(2) of the FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that the trust is entitled to rely on section 40(2) of the FOIA in this case. She therefore does not require any further action to be taken.
