The complainant requested demographic and academic information about applicants of a particular programme, as well as about those who had been offered an interview or a place. The Commissioner’s decision is that University College London (UCL) has correctly applied section 12 of the FOIA (cost of compliance exceeds the appropriate limit), and that it has fulfilled its statutory obligation under section 16 to provide advice and assistance to the complainant.
