General Medical Council

The complainant has requested the minutes of a Fitness to Practice Panel hearing in respect of a specific Doctor. The General Medical Council withheld the requested information because it considered that disclosing it would breach data protection principles. The Commissioner’s decision is that the GMC has correctly applied section 40(2) of the FOIA to withhold the information.
