The complainant requested from the Department of Health and Social Care (“DHSC”) information relating to the Health Secretary's attendance at the opening of an NHS Nightingale Hospital.
The Commissioner’s decision is that the DHSC has failed to respond to the request within 20 working days and has therefore breached section 10(1) of the FOIA. However since the DHSC has since issued a response to this request, the Commissioner does not require any steps.
