The complainant has requested information from the Metropolitan Police Service (the “MPS”) about whether or not it had conducted a particular investigation. The MPS refused to confirm or deny whether it had done, citing the exemptions at sections 40(5) (Personal information), 30(3) (Investigations and proceedings) and 31(3) (Law enforcement) of the FOIA.
