The complainant requested from the Hampshire Constabulary (“the Constabulary”) information about body camera footage, written and audio recordings and an investigation outcome relating to a named police officer during an alleged incident in October 2021. Another named individual involved was reported by the complainant to have subsequently died following the incident.
The Constabulary refused to provide the information citing that they neither confirmed or denied the information was held.
The Commissioner does not require the Constabulary to take any steps in relation to this matter.
