The complainant has requested information from the University of East London (“the University”), in relation to the placement of Social Work students with Practice Educators. The University provided some information to the complainant but refused further information by virtue of section 40(2) of FOIA – personal information. The Commissioner’s decision is that the University is entitled to rely on section 40(2) of FOIA to withhold the requested information.
