The Financial Ombudsman Service (‘FOS’) responded and then offered advice and assistance to the complainant on how to refine their request. The Commissioner’s decision is that the FOS interpreted the request correctly and complied with its obligations according to section 16 (advice and assistance) of FOIA.
The Commissioner does not require the FOS to take any further steps.
