The complainant requested information from Cottesmore Parish Council (“the Council”) relating to a letter discussed during a Parish Council meeting. The Commissioner’s decision is that the Council has not correctly applied section 14(1) (vexatious request) of the FOIA to the request. The Commissioner requires the Council to take the following steps to ensure compliance with the legislation.
