The complainant requested information relating to the way the Department for the Economy had assessed allegations they had made. The Department refused the request under section 14(1) of FOIA since it considered that request to be vexatious. The Commissioner’s decision is that the request is vexatious and the Department was entitled to rely on section 14(1). No remedial steps are required.
