The complainant has requested information relating to the cost of Covid-19 vaccines. The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (‘BEIS”) refused to release information in scope of the request and cited section 43(2) of FOIA to withhold the information.
The Commissioner’s decision is that the withheld information engages section 43(2) of FOIA and the public interest favours maintaining the exemption. No steps are required as a result of this decision notice.
