  • Decision(s) FOI 30: Not upheld

The complainant has requested information about breaches of COVID rules at 10 Downing Street from the Metropolitan Police Service (the “MPS”). The MPS refused to provide the requested information, citing sections 30(1) (Investigations and proceedings) and 40(2) (Personal information) of FOIA.
The Commissioner’s decision is that the MPS was entitled to rely on section 30(1) to refuse the request. No steps are required.
