The complainant has requested information regarding written instructions and subsequent advice from the QC about a quieter neighbourhood scheme. London Borough of Enfield (the “Council”) answered part of the request and cited section 42(1) of FOIA to withhold the remaining parts within scope of the request.
The Commissioner’s decision is that the Council has correctly applied section 42(1) of FOIA and does not require the public authority to take any steps.
