The complainant has requested information from City of York Council (“the Council”) about the costs related to the publication and distribution of a 10-page survey they had received. The Council explained that as it could not identify the 10-page survey the complaint was referring to, it could not provide the requested information.
The Commissioner’s decision is that the Council has complied with its obligations under section 16(1) of the FOIA to provide adequate advice and assistance to the complainant.
The Commissioner does not require the Council to take any steps as a result of this decision notice.
