The complainant has requested information from Hertsmere Borough Council (“the Council”) relating to damaged wheelie bins and the number of freedom of information requests refused by the Council.
The Commissioner’s decision is that the Council is entitled to rely on section 14(1) (vexatious request) of the FOIA to refuse to provide the requested information.
The Commissioner does not require the Council to take any steps. Information Tribunal appeal EA/2023/0062 appeal dismissed.
