The complainant has requested a copy of the London Borough of Hackney Council’s information asset register. The London Borough of Hackney Council (“the Council”) withheld the requested information, citing Section 31(1)(a) (prevention and detection of crime) of FOIA. The Commissioner has concluded that the Information Asset Register is not exempt from disclosure on the basis of sections 31(1)(a) and 40(2) of FOIA.
