The complainant submitted a request to the Cabinet Office seeking information about requests he had previously submitted to government departments about the then Prince of Wales and on which the Clearing House had provided advice. The Cabinet Office refused the request on the basis of section 14(1) (vexatious) of FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that the Cabinet Office is entitled to refuse the request on the basis of section 14(1) of FOIA.
