The complainant has requested a copy of a report relating to child sexual exploitation (“CSE”). South Yorkshire Police (“SYP”) stated that it does not hold the requested information.
The Commissioner’s decision is that, on the balance of probabilities, SYP is correct when it says that it does not hold the requested information. However, SYP breached section 10(1) of FOIA as it failed to provide it’s response to the request within the statutory 20 working days.
The Commissioner does not require further steps.
