Bedfordshire Police refused to comply with the request, citing section 12 (cost of compliance) of FOIA as its basis for doing so. The Commissioner’s decision is that Bedfordshire Police is entitled to refuse to comply with the request in accordance with section 12(1) of FOIA. The Commissioner requires no steps to be taken as a result of this decision.
