- Decision(s) FOI 31(1)(g): Not upheld
The complainant has requested information relating to The Christie. The Care Quality Commission (“the public authority”) refused to provide the requested information, citing section 31(1)(g) (law enforcement) of FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that section 31(1)(g) applies but the public interest favours disclosure. The Commissioner requires the public authority to take the following steps to ensure compliance with the legislation: disclose the requested information, with redactions made under section 40 (personal information).
