The complainant has requested the criteria against which the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has assessed its readiness to scale up the migration of specified benefit claimants. They also requested the assessment of this readiness. DWP withheld this information under section 22, information intended for future publication. The Commissioner’s decision is that section 22 is not engaged. The Commissioner requires DWP to disclose the requested information. The public authority must take these steps within 30 calendar days of the date of this decision notice. Failure to comply may result in the Commissioner making written certification of this fact to the High Court pursuant to section 54 of the Act and may be dealt with as a contempt of court.
