The complainant requested information relating to the creation of a statement issued to the press. London Borough of Tower Hamlets (the Council) provided some information and confirmed that no further information was held.
It is the Commissioner’s decision that, on the balance of probabilities, the council does not hold any further information relevant to the request in addition to that which has already been provided to the complainant.
However, in not responding to the request within the statutory time limit, the Council breached section 10(1) of FOIA.
The Commissioner does not require further steps.
