The complainant has requested costing information about ‘Operation Hopgrove’ from the Metropolitan Police Service (the “MPS”). The MPS provided some information but it refused to provide the remainder as to do so would exceed the cost limit at section 12(1) (Cost of compliance exceeds appropriate limit) of FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that the MPS handled the request appropriately. He does not require further steps.
