The complainant has requested information about weekly meetings the Home Office has with asylum seekers at one of its sites. The Home Office disclosed some information but withheld the remainder citing section 40(2) (Personal information) of FOIA.
The complainant was content for personal information to be withheld but asked the Commissioner to determine whether or not the redactions were proportionate. The Commissioner has determined that section 40(2) is only partly engaged. The Commissioner requires the Home Office to disclose the information listed in the table at the end of this notice.
