Chief Constable Kent Police

The complainant submitted a two-part request for information about the sharing of information with housing providers. Kent Police refused the request citing section 12 of FOIA to do so.
The Commissioner’s decision is that Kent Police was entitled to rely on  section 12(1) of FOIA to refuse the request. The Commissioner also finds that Kent Police complied with its obligations under section 16 to offer advice and assistance.
The Commissioner does not require any steps as a result of this decision.
