The complainant requested various information about structural safety and refurbishment works at Carway Primary School. Carmarthenshire County Council (the Council) provided some information in its initial response, and additional information with its internal review response and during the Commissioner’s investigation. The Commissioner’s decision is that, on the balance of probabilities the Council does not hold any additional information falling within the scope of the request. However, in failing to provide all of the requested information within the statutory timescale the Commissioner finds that the Council breached regulation 5(2) of the EIR. The Commissioner does not require any steps to be taken.
