The complainant requested details of warrants relating to the Duchy of Cornwall that had been approved by HM Treasury. HM Treasury withheld some information in reliance on the exemptions at section 41 (information provided in confidence), section 43(2) (prejudice to commercial interests) and section 40(2) (third party personal data) of FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that HM Treasury was entitled to rely on section 43(2) and section 40(2) in respect of the withheld information. No steps are required.
