The complainant requested information from Middleton Cheney Parish Council (the Council) relating to the Middleton Cheney Playing Fields Association. The Council refused the request, citing section 12(1) (cost limit) of FOIA.
The Commissioner’s decision is that the Council was entitled to refuse to comply with the request in accordance with section 12(1) of FOIA. The Commissioner also finds that the Council complied with its obligations under section 16 of FOIA to offer advice and assistance.
The Commissioner does not require the Council to take any steps.
