Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)

The complainant has requested information on the algorithms used by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). The Commissioner’s decision is that DWP is entitled to rely on section 12(1), cost of compliance exceeds the appropriate limit, to refuse to comply with the request. The Commissioner is also satisfied that DWP has provided adequate advice and assistance in accordance with section 16(1). The Commissioner does not require DWP to take any steps.
