Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust (the Trust) has been served with an Enforcement Notice as a result of evidence seen by the Commissioner about its performance in relation to its statutory duties under the Freedom of Information Act. Between April 2024 and March 2025, the Trust had an average compliance rate of just 72% for answering requests within 20 working days. The Enforcement Notice requires the Trust take the steps outlined in Annex 1 of the Enforcement Notice by 1 December 2025.
