Pay

Use this service to pay or renew your annual data protection fee. 

If you haven’t completed a registration form yet, please go to our register page. 

If you pay by direct debit there is a £5 reduction of the fee.

If you’ve received a notice of intention to issue a penalty notice – use this service to pay your fee. Once your fee is paid, our records will be automatically updated and you will not be sent a penalty. 

How can I pay?

Credit or debit card

You'll need:

  • your order reference; and
  • registration reference.

We sent these as part of your application or renewal correspondence.

Pay by card

Direct debit

BACS

The BACS payment service is currently unavailable while we make some planned changes to the data protection fee. We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We expect it to be available again on 17 February. Please try again then.

Cheque

The cheque payment service is currently unavailable while we make some planned changes to the data protection fee. We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We expect it to be available again on 17 February. Please try again then.
