ORG’s project built upon public engagement, qualitative analysis and research to create an open source, web-based tool that utilised machine readable privacy notices to highlight key aspects of processing and their bases in the insurance and banking sector. Pro-forma emails were provided to users, along with relevant contact details to better enable individuals to enact their rights under GDPR.
ORG have also produced two reports outlining perceived challenges relating to rights under GDPR, the responses to interviews with individuals regarding their awareness of GDPR and other tools currently available and designed to enhance rights such as access and portability.

The reports produced were ‘Debates, Awareness and Projects about GDPR and Data Protection’ and ‘Public Understanding of GDPR’.
