EU Binding Corporate Rules authorised under Article 26(2) of Directive 95/46/EC where the ICO was not the lead supervisory authority and did not issue an authorisation.
ICO has previously confirmed that holders of EU BCRs for which ICO did not act as lead and did not issue an authorisation were eligible for a UK BCR upon certain conditions being met and updated documentation being submitted to ICO by 30 June 2021 latest.
Having submitted the required information to the satisfaction of the Commissioner, the following UK BCR approvals have been issued.
- List of BCR Holders (approved pursuant to paragraph 9, Part 3, Schedule 21 to the DPA 2018)
- BCRs approved under UK GDPR
